About Us
Mayes School of Performing Arts, established in 2019, offers weekly lessons in Singing, Acting and Dancing for 7-18 year olds.
Towards the end of each two-hour session, all students will come together to showcase what has been learned throughout the evening - we feel that showcasing at the end of each session is really important, and by performing to each other, the students are building confidence, whilst also having the opportunity to reflect on other’s work.

Your child will be placed into a group based on their age, but these groups are interchangeable, and we will move students around based on their ability once we have worked with them for a few weeks.

We run 1 session per week in Haverhill The 2-hour session costs £10. Note our sessions take place during term-time only.

To secure your child’s place at Mayes School of Performing Arts, please contact us via our website enquiry form, email, phone or social media. If the class is full, your child will be placed on a waiting list and contacted when a place becomes available.

Uniform
Students will need to wear black shorts, leggings, tracksuit bottoms or training trousers, with a ‘Mayes School of Performing Arts’ t-shirt. This can be ordered through us via email, or in person at a session. We advise that students wear jazz shoes for sessions, but comfortable trainers or plimsolls will also be fine.
